About Sprig Psychology

Sprig Psychology is headed by Pamela Lam, a Singaporean-born Clinical Psychologist with 7 years of experience seeing clients in a variety of role, including in a hospital's outpatient Sleep Clinic, Child Protection and Family services, and Private Practice offering individual and family therapy as well as assessments.  Currently, Pam is working in a University as an in-house counsellor assisting older teens to adults with a myriad of issues.

Pam especially enjoys working with clients from different cultures as well as clients navigating life or familial transitions.  While Pam was born in Singapore, she spent part of her childhood in the UK before moving back to Singapore in her early teens. She migrated to Australia in her early twenties and has been here ever since.  She is intimately familiar with the experiences of those who have migrated, and who are trying to reconcile the culture of their home/family with the often different culture of the society they now live in.

Her approach is friendly and open, often using humour and empathy to build trust with her clients.  A practitioner-client relationship based on mutual understanding allows clients to maintain control of where they want their own mental health journey to go.

As an endorsed Clinical Psychologist registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA), Pam has undergone accredited training and assessments to national standards.

Pragya is our ADHD Support and Social Worker.  She is an Indian-Australian social worker with both professional experience and lived experience of ADHD.

Pragya understands firsthand the challenges that can come with navigating a world that isn’t always built for neurodivergent minds — and she also know the strengths, creativity, and resilience that often come with it.

Pragya has worked extensively with people from culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) backgrounds, and bring a deep respect for the ways that culture, identity, and community shape each person’s experience. Her approach is inclusive, trauma-informed, and tailored to each individual’s needs.

Pragya is supportive, practical, and non-judgmental. She works with people of all ages to build self-awareness, develop strategies that work in real life, and connect with the right resources. Whether you are newly diagnosed, feeling overwhelmed, or just looking for a space where you can be understood, Pragya is here to help.

Pragya believes in neurodiversity-affirming care, meaning she does not see ADHD as something to be "fixed" — but something to be better understood and supported.

Pragya has 5 years of work experience in diverse settings such as NDIS, not-for-profit, and a university mental health support service. She is currently a registered member of the AASW (Australian Association of Social Workers) and is working towards her Mental Health Accreditation.
