Growth through Compassion, Authenticity and Approach
Growth
Growth is a lifelong process, often as a result of responding to life experiences and events outside of our control. It can impact how we see ourselves, others, and our future.
Rather than responding passively to it, I strive to instil "purposeful growth" in myself and my clients. By being mindful of ourselves and our growth, we can give it shape and direction. We can choose to grow towards our goals, values and happiness.


Compassion
Compassion is the oil that smooths our growth. As we navigate through life, compassion eases the way to allow us to make mistakes, learn, and grow. Compassion towards ourselves allow us to flourish.
I aim to instill a sense of self-compassion for all my clients.
Compassion towards others is the cornerstone of human connection. The ability to connect and be kind to others paves the way to authentic, meaningful and fulfilling connections.
Authenticity
Authenticity is the value of being true to yourself, your belief, and the values that make up who you are. Pressure to do what we "should" do or to feel what we "ought" to can get in the way of being our authentic selves.

Approach
The purpose of therapy is to set a goal and approach it step-by-step, making progress towards it.

My approach to that is to work with my clients in finding the right goals to match their preferred outcome, then navigating the path there together.

There are often may paths to approaching goals. The only "correct" path is the one that resonates with my clients to affect the most positive and deliberate changes.
